The Alternative Art School is a new kind of art school reimagined for our connected world. We offer an online art school taught by world renowned artists and scholars from around the globe. We partner with arts organizations and individuals to provide fully funded fellowships to underrepresented artists from around the globe through our Fellowship Open Calls. These juried open calls happen bi-yearly and are hosted on our <b>Fellowship Open Call page </b> Check that page to apply to our next Award Cycle or follow our newsletter for updates. We run open calls during the enrollment periods for our Fall and Spring Sessions, these enrollment periods usually happen between July-September and November - January. In addition to our Fellowship Open Calls, TAAS also supports full and partial financial support through your tuition dollars. A portion of every course fee goes directly towards supporting underrepresented artists, primarily from the global south.
